Quick Italian Lasagna with Barilla Bolognese Sauce

Quick Classic Italian Lasagna: Layers of tender pasta, rich Bolognese sauce, creamy béchamel, and melted cheese come together in this comforting and hearty dish. Perfect for family gatherings or cozy dinners

Preparation Time: 40-60 minutes
Portion for: 4-6 People

Ingredients:

  • 13 x 9 inch (33 x 23 cm) oven pan
  • 3 Jar of Barilla Bolognese Ragu sauce (approximately 1.2 lt )
  • 2 Pack UHT besciamella Chef Classica (white sauce)
  • 1 pack of Lasagne Oven Ready Lasagne
  • 200 grams of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 100 grams grated Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: Ham Slice, 5-6 leaf of fresh basil for the bolognese sauce

Instructions:

  • Pour the 3 Barilla Bolognese sauce in a pan and add 250ml of hot water at medium fire and turn of the fire soon start to boil. if you adding the basil cut in half some leaf and add them now.

Assemble the Lasagna:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Spread 100ml of besciamella on the bottom of the oven pan.
  3. Top with 2-3 ladle cup of the Bolognese sauce.
  4. add a layer of sheets of Barilla Oven Ready Lasagne, followed by more besciamella, Bolognese sauce, and mozzarella cheese. If you using the ham, please add some slice in each layer.
  5. Repeat the layers four more times (if possible).
  6. Finish with a layer of lasagne sheets, remaining Bolognese sauce, and a mixture of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  7. if the lasagna seams too dry add 50-100ml of hot water as a bit of water is require to cook the lasagna sheets

Ingredients Tips: if you like you can add in each layer some slice ham to enhance the taste

Bake:

  1. Cover the pan with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  2. Uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Serve:

Let the lasagna cool slightly (15-20 minutes ) before cutting and serving.

Remember, the besciamella may be soft and runny initially, but it will settle as it cools. You can serve it soft and cheesy or wait a bit longer for a picture-perfect slice!
